Scott Deaver is the inventor of the patent-pending AMULET™ system and technical lead for the project.  Scott has been a contractual software engineer for nearly thirty years, and has been involved many successful leading-edge project on behalf of leaders in their industries that reads like a “who’s who” of technology and industry giants.

He’s worked for organizations such as NASA (Lockheed Martin), ExxonMobil, Shell Oil, ChevronTexaco, Halliburton/Landmark, Schlumberger, and the list goes on and on.

Scott has been an inventor of both mechanical and software innovations, has many successfully awarded patents to his name, and is regarded as an expert in the area of digital security technology from the perspectives of both hacker and protector.

Scott Orman has a broad background spanning both the business and technical realms, including: Information Technology; Technical Project Management; Product Development and Sales; and Organizational Leadership across many cross-functional organizations in the DoD and Telecommunications industries. He is also an entrepreneur and inventor.

James Cardle Ph.D. has had a long and distinguished career as a consulting engineer, university professor, and as a patent attorney that spans more than three decades. James has engaged in both the private practice of patent law and as in-house university patent counsel.

James worked with Scott Deaver to establish the Intellectual Property that underpins the Amulet™ system. His academic interests included computational fluid dynamics. Dr. Cardle earned his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School and is a Registered Engineer in CA.

THOMAS HALIKIAS

Thomas Halikias is a seasoned financial professional with over 25 years of derivative and risk management experience, with expertise extending from simple financial metrics, to include predictive/anticipatory shifts in risk model parameters. He is also a principal at Light Horse Market Solutions, which specializes in derivative and equity finance solutions for a diverse group of financial institutions – hedge funds, traditional money managers and off-shore funds.

DAVID JENSEN

David is a an entrepreneurial advisor for early-stage start-up companies, helping small companies realize big ideas. A 20-year technology industry veteran, he has actively managed various product management, marketing, sales and engineering programs for start-up, growth and turn-around companies.

Dr. Mei Chen

ADVISOR – THE CITADEL
Dr. Chen is the Department Head of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Her areas of academic interest include numerical optimization, numerical linear algebra, and mathematics in signal processing.

Dr. Chen has been instrumental in providing access to The Citadel’s resources to assist in vetting and extending AMULET™ capabilities. The Citadel is uniquely positioned for such assistance, with strong placements each year in cybersecurity competitions and a university-wide focus on security in general.

Professor Shankar M. Banik

Dr. Banik is an associate professor of computer science in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. His areas of academic interest include computer networks, collaborative applications, peer-to-peer systems, multimedia and mobile systems, network security, and applied graph theory.
